Due to the perishable nature of our products, A Bountiful Harvest Designs does not accept returns, or offer exchanges or refunds. We do not accept any returns on any products or merchandise sold through amazon.com, regardless of type of product.
In our effort to comply with FDA regulations on Bio-terrorism, we cannot accept returns on any food product. These regulations are designed to ensure a clear, traceable path on all food items from producer to consumer. We thank you for your understanding and we regret any inconvenience this may entail.
Please note that all items are inspected before shipping and leave our facility in perfect shape. If you receive a product that has been damaged during transit please contact our office by calling 423-876-1922 within 24 hours of receipt for instructions on filing a damage claim with the shipping carrier. You MUST KEEP ALL PACKAGING, INSIDE AND OUT as well as THE ENITRE CONTENTS for FedEx inspection. All Claims MUST be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the increasing temperatures around the country we are no longer able to ship our chocolates, choclate items, baskets containing chocolate or fruit via FedEx Ground. Consumer please be aware that if Ground shipping is selected your shipping charges will be adjusted to Expedited Upgraded Shipping Charges with heat safe packaging. Neither A Bountiful Harvest or FedEx provides any insurance against heat damage to products and this type of damage does not qualify for a refund.
Weather Related Delays:
Please note that FedEx does not provide guaranteed delivery in the event of extreme weather conditions that may cause delays. In the event that your order might be delayed due to the weather please contact FedEx directly to verify the rescheduled delivery. Please note that FedEx and A Bountiful Harvest do not refund shipping due to these such delays.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the increasing temperatures around the country between the months of March and Mid-October we are unable to ship our chocolates to most states via FedEx Ground. If you are shipping your purchase to any zone outside of a FedEx 1 day delivery zone (please see FedEx map to determine your shipping zone) you must select Expedited shipping. You are buying highly perishable products and it is the customers responsibility to select the appropriate shipping method for the weather conditions where the order is being delivered. Please note that selecting standard shipping could result in heat damage and melted product, especially if you have not made arrangements to be home to receive your parcel. Neither A Bountiful Harvest nor FedEx provides any insurance against heat damage to products during transit and this type damage does not qualify for a refund.
SHIPPING
Please note that all of our chocolates, cakes & cookies are handmade. We make every attempt to fill all orders within 48 to 72 hours, however, the turnaround time for filling orders may varies depending on volumes, the items ordered, etc. We may also delay shipping to the following week for perishable items if a weekend interrupts the shipping as these perishable items cannot be shipped to sit in a hot warehouse or FedEx truck throughout the weekend. Please be aware that the estimated delivery time given by Amazon may not be the same as our actual delivery time based on the reasons mentioned. If you have any questions about delivery of your order please contact us directly BEFORE placing your order. Please note that neither A Bountiful Harvest or FedEx provides any insurance against heat damage to products and this type of damage does not qualify for a refund.
DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
We take pride in creating superior quality products. Each item is inspected at time of packing and shipped in perfect condition. Should an item be damaged during shipping your order is insured. Please keep all damaged contents and packaging and contact us immediately at customerservice@abountifulharvest.com or 423-876-1922 in order for us to file a damage claim with FedEx and make alternative arrangements for your order. All damaged products MUST BE reported within 24 hours of receipt. Please note that neither A Bountiful Harvest or FedEx provides any insurance against heat damage to products and this type of damage does not qualify for a refund.
Holiday and Peak Season Shipping
Two to three weeks prior to all major holidays is always an extremely busy time for our Chocolatiers and basket designers. Our normal turn around time often runs from several days to 2 weeks longer then normal. We encourage you to place your holiday orders early as we accept pre-orders for each holiday for up to 12 weeks prior to each upcoming holiday. Please keep in mind that each item is made by human hands and not machines, and all orders are filled in the order they are received. We promise it's worth the wait! This does not qualify for a refund.
Refused Shipments
We do not accept any returns, please review our returns policy for further information. We are also unable to accept back any packages that are refused delivery by you or your recipient. Refused packages will NOT be returned back to A Bountiful Harvest as per our contract agreement with FedEx; therefore, any refused packages will be discarded by FedEx. Refused packages will not be refunded as they do not qualify for a refund.
Undeliverable Addresses
Please note that no refunds will be provided for orders shipped to incorrect addresses. Due to the perishable nature of our products we are unable to accept any returns. If an order is shipped to an incorrect address FedEx will attempt to contact you or your recipient by telephone or postal mail to obtain a correct delivery address. Please note that the delivery address correction fee will be collected by FedEx before the parcel is delivered and in the absence of a reply FedEx will discard the package.
