Due to the perishable nature of our products, A Bountiful Harvest Designs does not accept returns, or offer exchanges or refunds. We do not accept any returns on any products or merchandise sold through any outlet, regardless of type of product.

In our effort to comply with FDA regulations on Bio-terrorism, we cannot accept returns on any food product. These regulations are designed to ensure a clear, traceable path on all food items from producer to consumer. We thank you for your understanding and we regret any inconvenience this may entail.

All sales are final. Once the order is shipped it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Orders for custom made items cannot be cancelled once they have been placed.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the increasing temperatures around the country we are no longer able to ship our chocolates, chocolate items, baskets containing chocolate or fruit via UPS. Consumer please be aware that if Ground shipping is selected your shipping charges will be adjusted to Expedited Upgraded Shipping Charges with heat safe packaging. Neither A Bountiful Harvest or UPS provides any insurance against heat damage to products and this type of damage does not qualify for a refund.

Weather Related Delays:

Please note that delayed shipments due to adverse weather conditions, power outages & storm damage are beyond our control and all packages will be shipped and/or delivered as soon as humanly possible.

Please note that neither UPS or A Bountiful Harvest do not provide guaranteed delivery in the event of extreme weather conditions that may cause delays. In the event that your order might be delayed due to the weather please contact UPS directly to verify the rescheduled delivery. Please note that UPS and A Bountiful Harvest do not refund shipping due to such delays.

In the event that your order is delayed due to an unexpected or random governmental inspections please contact UPS directly to verify the rescheduled delivery. Please note that UPS and A Bountiful Harvest do not refund shipping due to such delays.

Please note that A Bountiful Harvest is not liable in the event a UPS driver fails to pick up or scan a package which results in delayed shipment/delivery of said package. This does not qualify for a refund or A-Z Claim.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the increasing temperatures around the country between the months of March and Mid-October we are unable to ship our chocolates to most states via UPS Ground. If you are shipping your purchase to any zone outside of a UPS 1 day delivery zone (please see UPS map to determine your shipping zone) you must select Expedited shipping. You are buying highly perishable products and it is the customers responsibility to select the appropriate shipping method for the weather conditions where the order is being delivered. Please note that selecting standard shipping could result in heat damage and melted product, especially if you have not made arrangements to be home to receive your parcel. Neither A Bountiful Harvest nor UPS provides any insurance against heat damage to products during transit and this type damage does not qualify for a refund.

SHIPPING TIME

Please note that all of our chocolates, cakes & cookies are handmade fresh to each order. We make every attempt to fill all orders within a week or two of placement; HOWEVER, the turnaround time for filling orders varies depending on volumes, the items ordered, season, holiday or time of year, etc. and we are unable to guarantee delivery dates unless confirmed by phone with a representative. We also reserve the right to delay shipping for perishable items if a weekend interrupts the shipping or if extreme weather such as heat in excess of 78 degrees or snow as these perishable items cannot be shipped to sit in a hot warehouse or UPS truck throughout the weekend. If you have any questions about delivery of your order or need date specific delivery please contact us directly BEFORE placing your order.

Next Day, 2nd Day or 3 Day Select Shipping

Please note that this simply means the method of shipment once your order has been created and does NOT mean that your order will be created and shipped 1, 2 or 3 days, nor does it mean your order will receive priority for creation over and above existing orders.

Guaranteed Delivery Dates

We do not guarantee delivery dates for custom made items such as chocolates & cakes unless confirmed in writing prior to order being placed. Please remember we have customers that order custom cakes & chocolates for events up to 12 months in advance so we have certain dates full.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

We take pride in creating superior quality products. Please note that each item is inspected at time of packing and shipped in perfect condition. Should an item be damaged during shipping your order is insured; however, please note that You MUST KEEP ALL PACKAGING, INSIDE AND OUT as well as THE ENITRE CONTENTS for UPS inspection and contact us immediately at customerservice@abountifulharvest.com or 423-876-1922 in order for us to file a damage claim with UPS. All damaged products MUST BE reported within 24 hours of receipt. Please note that neither A Bountiful Harvest or UPS provides any insurance against heat damage to products and this type of damage does not qualify for a refund.

Holiday and Peak Season Shipping

Eight - twelve weeks prior to all major holidays is always an extremely busy time for our Chocolatiers, bakers and basket designers. Our turn around time often runs from 2-4 weeks longer then normal. We encourage you to place your holiday orders early as we accept pre-orders for each holiday for up to 16 weeks prior to each upcoming holiday. Please keep in mind that each item is made by human hands and not machines, and that all orders are filled in the order they are received and we have thousands of customers who pre-order for every holiday each year. We promise it's worth the wait! This does not qualify for a refund.

Cancellations

All sales are final. No refunds, no returns, no exceptions.

Refused Shipments

We do not accept any returns, please review our returns policy for further information. We are also unable to accept back any packages that are refused delivery by you or your recipient. Refused packages will NOT be returned back to A Bountiful Harvest as per our contract agreement with UPS/FedEx; therefore, any refused packages will be discarded by UPS/FedEx. Refused packages will not be refunded as they do not qualify for a refund.

Undeliverable Addresses

Please note that no refunds will be provided for orders shipped to incorrect addresses. Due to the perishable nature of our products we are unable to accept any returns. If an order is shipped to an incorrect address UPS will attempt to contact you or your recipient by telephone or postal mail to obtain a correct delivery address. Please note that the delivery address correction fee of $10 is charged by UPS before the parcel is delivered and in the absence of a reply UPS will discard the package. The $10 address correction fee will be charged to your credit card.

At this time, additional taxes for outside state sales will not be collected on items sold by this merchant. All sales within the state of Tennessee are subject to state sales tax collection.
