I can’t help but wonder about all these so-called ‘networking sites’. I avoided Myspace for the longest time until time and again I was being told I needed to set up an account to share pictures of our cakes. So I did….they were right. We’ve met a lot of great new customers through them stumbling across our cakes. Then it was Facebook. I was so anti Facebook I couldn’t stand even hearing people talk about it. But eventually I gave in and signed up. Yes it is a great way to keep everyone up to date also with our new designs. So now the craze to be a part of is Twitter….yes we are now on Twitter. So in between hanging out on Myspace and Facebooking and Tweeting when are we to find time to work and actually make cakes?

It’s been an extremely busy couple of months. Wedding cakes, Grooms Cakes & Birthday Cakes of all shapes & sizes. We would like to congratulate Mr & Mrs Shawn & Beau Skelly on their recent marriage. Beau found us earlier this year frustrated at not being able to find a bakery in Chattanooga that would make her cake and we were delighted to create her dream cake. Beau wanted a tiered cake with light blue fondant bow wrapped around each layer and Shawn wanted a Yankees Baseball Cap Cake.

Maddie wanted bright colors on her topsy turvy cake and we think it came out really cute. When we delivered the cake for Maddie’s party in Ringgold, GA it all color co-ordinated with the decorations and looked awesome!! Happy 16th Maddie!

There is always something special about creating a cake to celebrate a 50th anniversary. Sadly, few people get to celebrate this remarkable milestone these days and when creating a 50th anniversary cake it always fill you with hope. What was also wonderful about this happy couple was that they had kept their original cake topper from their original wedding cake 50 years earlier and placed it on top of their anniversary cake!
